  • By leo ger, December 8, 2012 @ 10:19 am

when andy loses, he is always injured brother D:D:

  • By lavaman233, December 8, 2012 @ 10:19 am

Wawrinka = small minded, small timeplayer. Look where his career has gone since beating an injured Murray at USO. Down the toilet, losing to Donald Young this year LOL!

Murray has had a GS Final and 3 GS SFs. I know where I’d rather be career wise.

Press 4 and call me immature.

  • By Evan Nagao, December 8, 2012 @ 12:14 pm

@Rafathaman94 I mean he sort of has the mind of a 4th in the world, but his attacking sucks ass

  • By Evan Nagao, December 8, 2012 @ 1:09 pm

@Rafathaman94 he’s pretty thoughtful on the court, it just his attacking…

  • By dxuhuang, December 8, 2012 @ 1:38 pm

Stan Wawrinka is a fantastic shotmaker! If only he had the mental edge and the speed, he’d be one of the truly best.

  • By ArjunJethwa, December 8, 2012 @ 2:12 pm

    LOL!

  • By thegov08, December 8, 2012 @ 3:05 pm

Wawrinka reminds me of turtle from entourage.

@Rafathaman94 He’s only played Gonzalez and Berdych once each since he turned 20 and those were the two matches at the French Open. I don’t think we can really read anything into that.

Don’t get me wrong, these players can certainly give him trouble on their day, but I think Murray still goes into matches with them as the favourite. Unless they play absolutely lights out tennis then they usually lose, so I don’t see any reason why Murray can’t win a slam with these guys around.

  • By blandflabbis, December 8, 2012 @ 4:24 pm

@Rafathaman94 Gonzalez and Berdych were at the French, where Murray doesn’t have a hope anyway, so they’re slightly different. He’s got a 5-1 head to head record against Cilic, an 8-1 record against Verdasco, a 6-3 record against Roddick and a 5-4 record against Wawrinka, so as I said, long term the odds are still in Murray’s favour with these matchups. They might play a perfect match now and then (like Cilic or Verdasco did) but it doesn’t work out for them overall.

Some 1 must upload Roddick vs Wawrinka, the match from yesterday. it shows how good wawrinka is , really. after i saw him play he insantly became my all time favourite. hes just good. its a fact.

@Rafathaman94 If a player comes out hitting winners all over the place and nailing every shot then they’ll beat Murray, but that’s a low percentage way to win. In fact it’s something about 90% of players try against Murray (and Nadal) but it rarely actually works. I think Verdasco in Australia is actually the proof for what you’re arguing as there were other reasons why he lost to the players mentioned above (e.g. Berdych should beat Murray on clay anyway because he’s better on that surface).

I love andy, but sometimes when things get stressful he can’t cope for a while until he gets his game back – though he does play very well, and I love watching him play too <3

  • By bobokk, December 8, 2012 @ 7:35 pm

What has Nadal got to do with anything? The point is that Murray thinks he’s better than he is. Nadal can flex all he wants and if anyone questions him, he let’s his tennis do the talking.

This is NOT a “Murray video”. Wawrinka won in case you hadn’t noticed and I enjoyed watching him play. The only bullshit here is what is coming out of your keyboard. Obviously you’ve confused attitude with acting like a twat. You’re the same as your idol – can’t accept losing.

  • By nguyenimproved, December 8, 2012 @ 7:49 pm

so whats ur say on nadal for his flexing you faggot? haters like you have it in your mind to hate a certain player no matter what. your arguments are based on unfounded bullshit. every point you raise could be equally applied to nadal. yet faggots like you dont pick on him. why dont u google ‘nadal flexing’ you moron. btw try watching videos of players u enjoy instead of polluting murray videos with your vitriol you murray-hating faggot. watch womens tennis if u cant handle attitude.

  • By bobokk, December 8, 2012 @ 8:31 pm

Never again? Google “andy murray flexing” you fuckwit. And 2008 is not the “murky past” (whatever that’s supposed to mean).

There’s a difference between not liking to lose and not accepting loss. The reason that Murray keeps making the same mistakes is because he doesn’t recognise his limitations. Any good player looks at their weaknesses and tries to work on them. Murray clearly doesn’t. I don’t need to read his mind – his mouth does enough:

  • By nguyenimproved, December 8, 2012 @ 8:42 pm

yes ive never seen nadal flex his biceps. god ur arguments are retarded. murray did it once when he came back from 2 sets to love agaisnt a Frenchman in front of a Rabidly Partisan British crowd. and never again. way to pluck one obscure example out of the murky past to push ur misleading arguments dude. as for him thinking he’s better than he is: i didn’t know you caould read minds. you should start a tv show. ps. no player that’s any good likes losing, that’s what drives them to improv

  • By bobokk, December 8, 2012 @ 9:11 pm

No. Murray just isn’t good enough – like Henman before him. He won first the first set and lost the second by tie-break. I wouldn’t exactly call that a “bad day”. He was outplayed pure and simple.

Watch any interviews of Murray and it’s clear that he can’t accept losing. He always downplays his inability to capitalise when he’s winning which is fundamental at any level of tennis. He thinks he’s better than he is and he loves himself. You’ve seen him flex his biceps

  • By nguyenimproved, December 8, 2012 @ 9:48 pm

its not a spectator sport cos lots of ppl play it. whats a non-spectator sport..cos every sport has spectators. even fuckin darts. so ur comment is useless. wawrinkas a pusher who caught murray on a bad day. what makes murray “cocky”? his results or his attitude? cos hes got the exact demeanour as fed but cos he hasnt won a slam ppl label him”emotionless” and cocky. once he gets the slams on the board you ppl will jump on the bandwagon i bet.

  • By bobokk, December 8, 2012 @ 10:32 pm

Yes spectator sport – look it up if you don’t understand what it means. Murray won the first set by tie-break and lost the 2nd set so I don’t know what rhythm you’re talking about. If anyone was faking an injury it was Murray who called the trainer on when he was losing 4-1 in the 4th.

  • By nguyenimproved, December 8, 2012 @ 11:02 pm

“spectator sport” as opposed to what?..what injured leg dickface? cos a guy uses the injury timeout to get a massage and upset his opponents rythmn faggots like you think he has an “injury”..as they say there’s one (COCK) SUCKER born every minute.

  • By bobokk, December 8, 2012 @ 11:41 pm

That’s the sore loser’s argument. It doesn’t matter how much money he has – tennis is a spectator sport and seeing cocky twats get what they deserve is what makes it fun. Especially when they lose to players with injured legs ranked lower than them.

@Rafathaman94 Here we go again 😛
